ANALISIS CANGKANG AKSISIMETRIS DENGAN METODA ELEMEN HINGGA

ABSTRACT

Axyssimetrical shell structures more often found in a variety of civil engineering construction, but there are still obstacles in the direct application of the theory of elasticity, which involve mathematical problem are very complicated. Finite Element Method as a numerical approximation method which is based on the theory of elasticity implemented into a computer program t5o solve the problem of stress and displacement distributed of the axyssimetrical shell structures with axyssimetrical load too. This implemented produces a computer program that can be relied on various shell structure with a good level accuracy and in a time not too long, as in the test case in water tank structure and cooling tower structure.
